Documenting people, process, and place.

Jaclyn (she/her) is a Chicago-based photographer focused on the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.

Her work centers on environmental portraiture—photographing artists, creatives, and organizations within the environments that shape their work. Whether in a rehearsal hall, studio, workplace, or designed space, she aims to bring personality and lived experience to the forefront.

Creating a relaxed, grounded presence on set is central to her process. Jaclyn remains attentive to the details of concept and production while shaping an atmosphere where her subjects can feel at ease—allowing for moments that feel natural, unguarded, and true to the individual.

Inspired by her surroundings, she is drawn to the quieter elements of a space: the way light moves across a wall, the sharp angle of a shadow within an architectural interior, or the in-between moment when a subject lets their guard down without realizing it. These subtle details often become the foundation of her images.

Jaclyn works with musicians, cultural institutions, and brands to create imagery that feels intentional rather than staged—photographs that reflect both the person and the context they exist within.

She lives in Chicago with her wife and their cat and dog, and spends her spare time traveling and working on home design projects.

Jaclyn is available for editorial and commercial assignments in Chicago and worldwide.
