ABOUT JACLYN

Jaclyn (she/her) is a Chicago-based portrait and lifestyle photographer. She aims to bring personality and experience to the forefront. To do this it is essential to create a relaxed and calming presence on set. She remains focused on the details of the concept and production while setting the tone on the exterior so her subjects can relax and let their guard down through her careful yet natural direction.

Inspired by her surroundings, Jaclyn loves to find unique and magical elements within an environment that might otherwise go unnoticed: The way a dapple of light touches a wall, the hard shadow cutting an angle into an architectural space, the in-between moment where her subject let’s their guard down without realizing it.

Jaclyn lives in Chicago with her wife and their cat and dog. They spend their spare time traveling and working on home design projects.
